Seed mixture: There are four varieties of seed, all indigenous to Marloth Park, sold as a mixture: Panicum maximum, Eragrostiscurvula, Cenchrusciliaris and Digitariaeriantha.

To rehabilitate the veld on your property, try to keep the grass protected until it has seeded, if possible. Each packet of grass seed comes with sowing instructions. You may find that some of the seed may only germinate a season from now.  This is a natural growing phenomenon.
