Marloth Park Fortnightly Game Counts
.. are done by road and cover the whole park. We strictly follow the principle of counting only what we see without guessing, assuming or applying any formula.
It must be stressed that counts do NOT give the total number of animals in the park, only the MINIMUM numbers. The counts are used to provide trend information which is used for game and veld management purposes.
History going back to 2012 is included, gender is recorded starting with the fortnightly counts so history does not contain this breakdown.
