The Marloth Park Honorary Rangers would like to thank Tony and June Haywood for their years of service to the Honorary Rangers.
Their contribution has been huge and is greatly appreciated. Tony has put up at least a third of the benches on the river roads and all of the plastic/wood benches. He put up barrier poles along the river and did the demarcated parking area at Frikkies Dam. He has supervised the construction of all but 2 of the signs in Lionspruit as well as the directional signs. He put up the concrete table and benches on the river road. He also put the baboon proof bins into Lionspruit. Tony has also been on hand to assist with the pumps.
At our fairs both Tony and June have played a huge part by cooking and organizing the beer, ice and rolls. June provided the tea, coffee and biscuits at every meeting. She organized the urn, cups and saucers and the clean up afterwards. Tony and June both contributed to gate duties. They have also helped with the many work parties in Lionspruit and Marloth.
Marloth Park has lost two such hard working volunteers in Tony and June. They were always willing to help. They will be sorely missed.
