Many property owners have baboon proof bins on their properties and most of these prove to be ineffective, creating a serious litter problem. The structure and maintenance of these bins are the responsibility of the home owners. In order for them to be effective they need to be constructed of small holed expanded metal so that monkeys and mongoose are not able to pull the rubbish out of the bins.

They also need to have a baboon proof catch. All rubbish placed in the bins needs to be in black
plastic bags and not loose. It WILL NOT BE COLLECTED if loose in the bin. No rubbish is to be
placed on top of or next to the bins. Please take any excess rubbish to the dump sites situated on
Olifants Drive and exit gates.

People renting out their properties are requested to ensure that guests are aware of these requirements.
If homes are left unoccupied for long periods of time it is preferable that baboon proof bins are locked
to prevent misuse. The unauthorized dumping of rubbish in private bins is a regular occurrence. If for
any reason the rubbish is not collected then residents are requested to please take their rubbish to the
dump sites.

huise vir tydelike berging en die meeste van hierdie kaste is ondoeltreffend en skep 'n ernstige
rommelkopseer. Die huiseienaar is verantwoordelik vir die struktuur en onderhoud van hierdie houers.
Hulle kan aan hulle doel beantwoord indien hulle van plaatgaas met klein ogies gemaak word om te
verhoed dat blouape en muishonde die vullis uit die houers trek. Hulle moet ook toegerus word met 'n
knip wat nie sal toelaat dat bobbejane dit loskry nie.

Alle vullis moet in swart plastiese sakke wees en nie as los items in die kaste geplaas word nie. DIT

is nie, moet inwoners dit asseblief self na 'n stortingsterrein neem.
